Anthropometry

Anthropometry is the study of the human body and its dimensions.

 

Understanding body’s unique ratios will help you determine how to best use athletes strengths.

40-Yard Dash

The 40-yard dash is used to measure speed and acceleration.

Pro X records the time it takes for an athlete to run 5m, 10m, 30m and 40 yards, using laser timing gates.

Broad Jump

Requires the athlete to travel the greatest distance possible, in the air, while using a two-foot stationary take-off and landing.

The test measures lower body power and explosiveness and is a great indicator of an athlete’s short-area quickness and burst.

3-Cone Drill

This test is commonly referred to as the L-Drill, is a test of agility, quickness, change of direction and body control.

 

Many coaches and scouts argue that an athlete’s “fluidity” in agility tests like the 3-cone drill are most indicative of true athleticism.

Vertical Reach

More than just a basketball and volleyball test, the vertical jump is reflective of athletes lower body strength, power and reactivity.

5-10-5

The 5–10–5 Pro Agility Shuttle assesses an athlete’s ability to accelerate, decelerate and change direction rapidly.

 

This sequence requires explosive starts, crisp lateral movement and controlled stops, making it a reliable measure of short‑area quickness and change‑of‑direction efficiency

Reactive Strength Index

The RSI test measures how well an athlete stores and releases energy during fast stretch-shortening actions.

 

High-RSI athletes are springy, explosive, and efficient, letting them run faster, change direction sharper, jump higher, and fatigue less.

BEEP TEST

The Multi stage fitness test, also known as the “beep test” is a widely used endurance fitness test.

 

The test involves running back and forth between markers 20 meters apart, in time-to-audio cues which get progressively faster.

Analysis

Testing only matters if it leads to action.

 

Every Pro X testing workshop ends with a clear performance report and athlete profile, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and physical priorities.

What the event includes?

Each athlete has two attempts per drill to ensure accurate and reliable results.

What space requirement?

Ideally, synthetic turf with a minimum 90 ft × 185 ft of unobstructed space.

Can the event be customized?

Yes.

Drills can be adapted based on partner requirements, sport, age group, or available space. 

How can we access the results?

Partners receive access to a performance dashboard with complete results for all athletes. 

How do athletes access their results?

Athletes can view their individual results through their personal profile on the DUB Sports app.
